Driver’s Education

When drivers in Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota apply for a driver's license, they have an opportunity to make a decision about organ and tissue donation. LifeSource provides free materials to driver's education classes to help students make an informed decision. Materials are available at no charge for anyone interested in helping students understand the facts about donation.

As of January 1, 2007, students taking driver's education in Minnesota are required to have 30 minutes of classroom instruction on organ and tissue donation.  LifeSource has materials available free of charge to meet this requirement, including a PowerPoint presentation, VHS video and educational booklets.  Request materials.
