Correspondence

Sometimes donor families and recipients choose to write to one another. Donor families may choose to share information about their loved one and themselves, and recipients may write to express gratitude and offer condolences. The decision to write is a deeply personal one.

LifeSource encourages donor families and recipients to write to one another if and when it feels right for them. Either party may initiate correspondence. LifeSource and the transplant center facilitate donor family and recipient communication to maintain anonymity.
