Tissue Recovery Coordinator

LifeSource seeks an experienced, adaptable, committed leader for the position of Tissue Recovery Coordinator. This full-time position is responsible for coordinating the screening and recovery of tissue donors referred from hospitals in the LifeSource service area, providing guidance and training to the recovery team and monitoring recovery activities.
Requirements:
- Certification as a Nurse Assistant, Surgical Technologist or similar program required. Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences, RN, PA, Mortuary Science, or Pathology preferred.
- Participate in on-call responsibilities for 15 days per month, including 2 weekends
- Superior knowledge of anatomy and physiology
- Demonstrated ability to motivate staff and achieve cohesive teamwork

Supply and Inventory Specialist

For this part-time (32 hours/week) 2 year grant position, LifeSource seeks an individual with the experience, knowledge or ability to coordinate and maintain inventory systems, inventory levels and equipment for the LifeSource tissue recovery teams.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 6 months experience in materials management, purchasing, hospital central supply or surgical experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform job responsibilities
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Valid Minnesota drivers license and be able to drive company vehicles
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, sit, stand, bend, reach and move about facility

Donation Coordinator

GIVE AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF LIFE
Join a team of motivated, highly skilled Donation Coordinators dedicated to helping people through organ and tissue donation and transplantation. As a Coordinator you will work with donor families, hospital staff, and transplant centers by responding to referrals and coordinating the organ donation process. This full time position also offers the opportunity for participation in research, presentations, and education.
Requirements:
- RN, PA or equivalent. A minimum of 2 years of critical care, or emergency room experience
- Ability to multitask, think critically, operate independently, and demonstrate solid interpersonal skills
- Be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week and participate in 24 hour on-call schedule
